How Can I Search the Website?

You can search hArtists by using the search box on the top right corner of the page. Below are some examples you can try out:

Some Examples

  • Search for tags: tags:mascot [Try it]
  • Search only titles: title:"Sex Ed" [Try it]
  • Search only content: content:"We're cool like that." [Try it]
  • Search only a specific part of the site: type:FOLDER AND title:"Sex Ed" [Try it]
  • Combine search terms: "Monthly Jam" AND (type:HELPDESK OR type:FORUM) [Try it]
  • Range searches: "date:[2008-04-01 TO 2008-04-31]" [Try it]

You can search in these fields: content, date, tags, title, type, username and for these types: weblog, folder, submission, forum, helpdesk

Note that when doing type searches (i.e. searching for a specific username or title), the search will be case sensitive due to technical limitations of the search engine.

Experiment a bit; you can't break anything.
