What's Happening?
To all you Yankees: Happy 4th of July!!
Yeah, happy Independence Day and such. I enjoy the pyrotechnics as much as anybody, and the 4th of July Festival is just about the only event I have to look forward to in this town, so you could say that this is one of my favorite days/weeks of the year. On a business-related note, I've been writing a fan-fiction story for my current fandom recently, so I'm starting to think that maybe I can get back to writing for this site again as well. If everything goes well, I'll pick that Nexus story...

Well timed luck alloted me some money from a family will. A digital camera, graphic pad, manga studio program, and Blazblue calamity trigger will arrive on my door step on the 7th. With the digital camera I plan on taking pictures of myself to actually have something in the photo/avy box. My works in progress - I could use some help.
Howdy friends! I've been working with Photoshop a little more closely now, and I wanted to see what you all thought about the works I'm producing with it. I could sure use your help and you advice. I've been dealing with gradients, trying to make the drawing blend in with the photo digital backgrounds I take. So, you think a filter is bad ?
So I was having a thought on the filter on the site today - thinking "gee, what if instead of a bunch of predefined categories, users can just define keywords (tags) they don't care about, so they can better find what they do want ?" Zab pointed out (rightly) that some see the filter as a 'censorship tool' and would discontinue tagging their art as a response - but that in turn would do more harm than good - because that means any untagged works also don't...
